Ingenuity, the Mars helicopter, successfully completes its 56th flight
The Mars helicopter Ingenuity has completed its 56th flight, surpassing all expectations. The Jet Propulsion Lab of NASA announced this impressive achievement, revealing that Ingenuity covered a distance of 1,334 feet, equivalent to a little over a quarter of a mile, across the Martian surface on Saturday. The tiny helicopter also reached a maximum altitude of approximately 39 feet above the Red Planet’s surface.
